Asphyxium Zine began in print in 1997 dedicated to metal, punk, hardcore, and alt rock. It went online in 2015 and covers goth, crust, grindcore, doom, stoner rock, occult rock, psychobilly, electronica, ambient, industrial, experimental, synthpop, darkwave, and world. Bands interviewed include Infitar, Kerangkenk, Swirl, Three Sixes, Shallowpoint, Anckora, Braindance, Black Dawn, Chesty Malone and the Slice ‘Em Ups, Borgo Pass, Stryctnyne, Tragederia, Gravehuffer, Ike's Wasted World, Iconicide, Crucible Steel, Zebulon Kosted, Deathkids, Matianak, 25th Mission, Abysmal Domination, Sepsiss, Beastial Piglord, Misanthropik Torment, Freakstorm, Paganfire, Toxemia, Dowhanash and December Screams Embers.
